What happens during the session

This is a full working session delivered live online via video call on your Google Business Profile. We'll work through your profile together - categories, services, descriptions, photos, posts, the lot.

Wherever there's copy to write, we'll use AI to draft it, check it, and shape it into something that sounds like your business - not like AI wrote it.

We'll take a break partway through, because there's a lot to cover and it's worth taking stock halfway.

Your profile doesn't exist in a bubble - it connects to your website, your services, the words you use to describe what you do. So where something relevant to your website comes up, we'll deal with it as part of the session.

If something bigger comes up - a project of its own - I'll make a note of it, so you know what to focus on next.

Afterwards, you'll get a shared AI chat with all the copy we've worked on (as well as the recording of our session), so you can keep adding posts and updates long after the session ends.

How long is the session?

Around three hours, with a break in the middle. It's a working session, not a talking-about-it session - so there's a lot we can get through in that time.

Do I need to know anything about Google Business Profiles beforehand?

You just need to have access to your profile and be logged in. Several of my clients have come in with no idea where to start - that's exactly what the session is for. You don't need to be technical. I'll handle the navigation and you make the decisions about your business.

Do you only work with UK businesses?

No - I work with businesses anywhere in the world. Google Business Profiles work the same way regardless of where you're based.

Will this help with AI search as well as Google?

Yes. A well-optimised Google Business Profile is one of the foundations that AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Googles AI mode draw on when recommending local businesses. The work we do in the session helps with both and is more important than ever because of the changing world of search.

What do I need to have ready beforehand?

Access to your Google Business Profile, and the short prep form completed before the session.

Your profile won't sort itself

Whether you optimise your profile or not, Google will still show information about your business (which could be incorrect or out of date). This is what makes it so critical to take charge of your profile.
